Variable Control Step Sequencer

This device is a lot of fun. It's a sort of random sequencer (RNG / S&H) by default, but flexible enough to be made uniform with just a small amount of modification*. It outputs a control signal for maximum flexibility instead of being a boring MIDI sequencer. It also syncs to the beat, hushes when the track stops to avoid trailing noise, and allows for as many (or as few) steps as you want -- just change a single variable and you've got that many steps on hand, plus access to all of the appropriate knobs.
