Sample Grinder

Sample Grinder is a deceptively-simple Sonic Pi script that takes an entire folder, grabs random samples from it, and plays them back at varying, overlapping intervals.

Oh, and it slams everything with a compressor, because why wouldn't you want that? (You can also just lift the threshold, if you really don't want that -- but you'll have to fish out the amplitude / volume function for yourself!)

The whole script contains a single live loop (which is basically just a processing thread in Sonic Pi lingo, or a 'loop' in musical terms) so that you don't have to fuss around and learn the entire language just to get up and running. Just paste your sample directory on the first line and everything just works ™.
