This is a VFX Script device that can be loaded up anywhere you want things to get messy -- but Patcher is highly recommended. With only 2 simple controls to contend with (note and velocity), this device will spit out a monophonic note whenever the track is being played, and hush it when the track is stopped.

This allows you to have free-running patches and oscilaltions, drones that go on for as long as the song plays, and allows for more spontaneity and less controlled, meticulous planning. Because sometimes, you just wanna Jam™.
