Roadmap & planned updates

This pack is being created in a modular (heh) fashion, rather than my normal haphazard approach; each section is being given a dedicated amount of time and a rough preset quota before moving on to the next section. When these updates are put into place, I want to revisit, prune, and expand on earlier concepts so that there's truly a lot here to play with.

So here's what I have in mind for the future:

  • DAW-synced setups (next up)
  • Made-for-DAW FX (including multiband FX)
  • Music theory / songwriting helpers
  • Free-running dark ambient and noise generators
  • Euclidean rhythms and melodies
  • Vector mixing & synthesis
  • Mono / Poly routed setups
  • FM Synthesis
  • Additive synthesis (especially with the DMT modules)
  • Arp 2500 and Moog 900 rigs
  • Math, formula and precision-inspired melodies
  • MIDI I/O bonanza (where your input is twisted into something crazy!)
  • Ratcheting rigs
  • BYOME-inspired FX banks
  • Drums from scratch (including DIY synthesis)
  • Probability and randomness explorations
  • Large free-running generative sequences
  • "Challenge racks" -- creatively unwired setups to help inspire you

There very well may be more to add to this in the future, but I want this to be as expansive (if not more!) than my cabinet pack, with loads of things you can pull out and use immediately when working on bigger musical projects.

But, if we're really lucky.... (in the waaaaay distant future)...

I'm hoping to eventually snag a developer license (the only way to distribute modules on VM, even free ones) so that I can give away free modules (such as my playheads, mixers, and other utilities I've built over the years) that help assist other ones and don't cost you another dime. Exploring this territory further would be really exciting, so it's definitely on the roadmap.

Anyway, thanks for checking out my project and I hope this inspires you to keep making cool jams :)
