How to use these presets!

The easy way:

  1. Add formula to your rack
  2. Right click on Formula
  3. Hover over "Module Preset"
  4. Click "Manage..."
  5. Dump everything (loose files) into the folder that shows up

The hard way (if something isn't working for you for some reason):

First, create a custom preset for Formula. This will create the system folders needed to contain all of the preset files.

To create a Formula preset: add Formula to your rack, right click on it and tell it to "save preset" from the "Module Preset" option in the menu. Call it "Blank" or something, so you can just delete it later.

Navigate to your Voltage folder (usually something like C:/Users/You/AppData/Roaming/Voltage on Windows), and locate the 'Presets' folder. Inside of the Presets folder, the top folder should be "__Module_Presets__", and inside of that folder, "com.cherryaudio.formula" is the final destination. Your blank preset file should be sitting in there, and you can just throw all of these presets in the same directory.

If the com.cherryaudio.formula folder isn't showing up, revisit the section titled " To create a Formula preset" above.  From then on, you can load all presets this way -- just right-click on Formula, and browse to one of your presets.

If you're getting errors, just make sure X and Y (and possibly even Z for some presets) are connected before flipping presets. Attempting to make Formula divide by null values or zero will make it error out and this can only be remedied by either switching presets again, typing something into Formula manually, etc. If you have connections in the first place, this won't happen.
