Considering redoing this series

So, let's get right down to it!

A lot has changed since I first made this tutorial series -- I figured out how to fix a lot of my sound problems, I got better at editing videos, and I've explored the depths of Filter Forge for another few years. Although I'm not a professional Filter Forger by any means, I definitely think that an update to this series would be pretty darn cool.

I'm considering redoing the whole thing, for many reasons:

  • Better recording quality (as mentioned)
  • Better editing quality (as mentioned)
  • More experience with FF in general
  • More ideas for how to use certain modules
  • Smaller, more bite-sized tutorial videos
  • Showcase: Real-life examples of how you can use the platform
  • Showcase: Designing album covers with FF
  • Showcase: Designing itch project covers with FF
  • Showcase: Better Lua scripting applications

All I'm really looking for is a show of hands -- if even a handful of people want this to happen, I'll do it. It's undoubtedly going to be a gigantic project, and it's going to take a long time to complete, but as always, it's a free update for all.

Mostly, it's a matter of when, and not if -- I think this needs a facelift, so more votes will push it closer to completion. Otherwise, it'll be on the back burner while I spruce up other projects. Should I prioritize this above the rest? Your vote counts :)
